Dr. Daina Budreckis originated from the Boston area before receiving degrees from both Purdue University and Northwestern University. She helped participate in research on orangutans in Sumatra, Indonesia prior to graduating from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Budreckis completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center and an oncology specialty internship at Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. Dr. Budreckis became board certified in Oncology after completing her residency in Medical Oncology at the University of California, Davis. Her professional interests include helping her patients with cancer including lymphoproliferative diseases (lymphomas, leukemias), mast cell tumors, bone and bladder tumors, as well as targeted therapy and pain management.
