AVS Pawsitive Impact Fund

Together, We Can Help Pets in Need!

Advanced Veterinary Specialists has joined forces with Veterinary Care Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation providing financial assistance to pet owners in need, to create the AVS Pawsitive Impact Fund. This fund will provide financial assistance for urgent veterinary care in select, eligible cases. For every dollar donated to the AVS Pawsitive Impact Fund, 100% will go directly to helping treat pets in need of critical medical attention.

How It Works

Funds are distributed at the discretion of our doctors and hospital leadership, based on specific eligibility criteria. While we wish we could help every family in Santa Barbara County, available funds will be granted if:

  • The medical need is urgent or life-threatening

  • The pet has a good prognosis with treatment

  • Financial hardship is a significant barrier to care, even after applying for CareCredit.

Our goal is to remove obstacles to care where we can, so pets can have access to life-saving and compassionate care, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.

Note: Funds are not intended to cover the entire cost of treatment by Advanced Veterinary Specialists.
