Beth Whitney

Dr. Beth Whitney is a native of New Hampshire.  She received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. She then completed a rotating internship and internal medicine residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.  Dr. Whitney completed the ACVIM board examination to become a Diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine in 2003. She has been practicing as a veterinary internal medicine specialist in Connecticut for the past 23 years where she trained over a hundred interns and a few internal medicine residents. Dr. Whitney has also lectured locally and has taught endoscopy courses to veterinarians. She loves all aspects of internal medicine, particularly renal and endocrine diseases. She has extensive experience in gastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and rhinoscopy. She also has taught ultrasound and has deep knowledge in this imaging technique as well as CT scan. She performs ultrasound guided aspirates, bone marrow aspirates and feeding tube placements among other procedures. 

Dr. Whitney relocated to California to be closer to her daughters and to enjoy the wonderful outdoor life she loves. She loves baking, yoga, hiking with her dogs, biking, horseback riding and loves all water sports including scuba diving, boating and snorkeling and is hoping to take up surfing!
