Dr. Samar has travelled all over the world and has worked as a veterinarian in both United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and now here in the United States. After graduating from University of Queensland in Australia, she completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Specialists Services and then travelled to London and its outskirts where she worked at numerous veterinary hospitals as a relief doctor. Over the years, she has travelled back to her home base in Sydney and used this opportunity to practice as a veterinary in the southern hemisphere too!

Dr. Samar enjoys working with pets and their families and understands the difficulties of being in an emergency situation and making decisions about loved ones. She feels strongly about patient care in the hospital and is always advocating for her patient's quality of life. Her passion for emergency medicine and critical care has always drawn her back to working in a specialty hospital where she can be a part of a multidisciplinary team!

When she is not at the hospital, she is entertaining a very needy Golden Retriever, called Norman and cooking all types of cuisines with her husband!
