
Hilary Ludwig, DVM, DACVS-SA
Hailing originally from Montreal, Canada, Dr. Hilary Ludwig is a board-certified DVM who has lived in the midwestern, southern, and western United States since the mid-2000s.
Her background and interests include specialized and minimally invasive surgical modalities such as laparoscopic ovariectomy, laparoscopic liver biopsy, intracorporeally sutured gastropexy as well as surgical oncology.
Dr. Ludwig post school activities include having successfully completed a comprehensive small animal and surgery rotating internship at the University of Georgia Veterinary Medical Center. She was also a Surgery Resident at the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Ludwig graduated with a B.S. degree in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and earned her Doctor of Veterinary medicine—with high honors from Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and in 2021 she became board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS).
In her spare time, Dr. Ludwig loves to go on runs, try new restaurants, travel abroad, and ride her horse Kahlua. She also enjoys spending time with her husky mix named Lily, and her lovable cat, Nigel.
